I’m obsessed with salmon. We eat it 2-3 times a week, which is awesome because it’s so healthy for you! It’s chock full of omega 3s, vitamins, and other nutrients vital to our overall everyday well-being. This easy keto mayo crusted baked salmon recipe has become a staple in our household. It’s delicious, savory, and the salmon practically melts in your mouth!
We’re a wild-caught household, as we avoid grains and corn ourselves, we prefer our meat to have the same healthy diet that we do. Here’s a great article from the Cleveland Clinic on why wild-caught is healthier than farm-raised. Usually, we find wild-caught Alaskan salmon at the grocery store, but recently Butcher Box added it to their already stellar lineup of amazing meats. It’s actually cheaper to get it from BB, and it comes packaged in 6-ounce filets, which is perfect! But if you can’t get wild-caught, any salmon is better than none!

In addition to loving salmon, I also really love mayonnaise. Like, addicted kind of love. Pairing the two? *Chef’s Kiss!* Along with being wild-caught, we’re a seed free oil home–as much as possible. Store bought avocado oil mayo can be expensive, so Derek created his own easy recipe that I’ll get posted soon! We love Tessemae’s and Sir Kensington’s. Or, of course, use whatever mayo you love.
I won’t bore with you why we choose to avoid seed oils, but if you’re interested in how harmful they can be, check out this fantastic and very informative post by functional medicine specialist Chris Kresser here.
The Easiest Salmon You’ll Ever Make
Seriously, y’all. You’ll love me for how easy this mayo crusted salmon recipe is. The best part? It takes away some of that fishy flavor many people seem to hate when eating salmon.
Preheat your oven to 400F and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil to minimize cleanup. Trust me. You’ll thank me for this later.
Remove salmon from packaging and pat dry. Don’t skip this step! The mayo will adhere much better if you do this.
Lather up that salmon with a nice layer of mayo, and then move on to your seasonings. You can do ANYTHING here. I’m a big fan of FlavorGod seasonings because they’re all MSG, GMO, and gluten-free. We used the Cajun Lovers seasoning for this recipe, and it turned out so well! You can also add crushed pork rinds for an extra crunch!

Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes, depending on how you prefer your salmon cooked. Don’t worry if some of the mayonnaise comes off while baking. It’ll still be super flavorful!
This salmon recipe is super easy, versatile, and quick. Switch it up with different seasonings and pair it with your favorite side dishes such as mashed cauliflower, asparagus, or broccoli. It also pairs incredibly well with my keto coleslaw! Let me know what you think!
